Join us at Beloved Garden, a new kind of Jewish learning experience designed for families to join together in a warm, home-based setting. No classrooms, no blackboards, no homework; just a fully engaged sensory exploration of the joys of Jewish life.
We believe that children are most enthusiastic about Jewish living when they see their parents excited and curious in their own adult Jewish lives. We also believe that many kids learn best when they get their hands dirty.
One Saturday afternoon per month, families come together at Beloved Brooklyn, a home-based Jewish community in Clinton Hill, for experiential family learning, havdalah (the ritual at the end of Shabbat), and a delicious, home-made meal.
And, one Friday evening per month, families will come together to welcome shabbat with song, learning, blessings, and dinner.
Our goal is to experience a Jewish life that engages mind, heart, body, and spirit in a lifelong exploration of what it means to be a human being.
Saturdays 3:30-6:30pm (generally 2nd Saturday with some exceptions)
Fridays 5:30-7:30pm (generally 4th Fridays with some exceptions)
We will also celebrate holidays together (noted below)
